We started the process with this company one Wednesday of last week. They told us the financing was complete. They wanted us to come in on Thursday to finalize the deal and trade in our car. We called on Thursday and come to find out, one of their finance people, Lorraine, screwed everything up. At least that is what we were told by their customer service manager, Harold. Harold asked us to give them 24 hrs and everything would be complete. Mind you, my husband is active duty military and we only have one vehicle which he had on base with him. So, we were very limited on free time. Friday I called and they told us to come on up when we could. When we got there, they couldn't do anything because their finance guy that we were now dealing with, was gone. Also, Harold told us that it was a done deal and that it was 100% safe for us to put a stop payment on our current car so that we weren't wasting any money. Anyway, we were told Friday that we would have to wait until Monday because the guy now handling us, Jim, was gone for the weekend. Monday I called and spoke with Jim and he clarified that everything was done and numerous bank approved us. We just needed to come in to pick the deal that worked best for us. We told them over and over that we were not putting any money down, we were trading our vehicle that we owed $13,000 on, and we were not using ANY outside co-signers. They knew this on Wednesday. Well, we finally got up there after my husband found someone to take over command for him and low and behold...nothing was done. They wanted money down or an outside co-signer. They ignored what we told them from the beginning. They ignored my questions. They wasted five days of our life that could have been spent spending time with each other since we don't get to do that.
