Vehicle is never ready on time. Take numerous visits to ever solve the problem/repair. Poor customer satisfaction in my opinion. Will not purchase vehicle from them again.

I tried to get a Hyundai Elantra price quote for a friend who was look to buy a new one.
I called and first spoke to the Hyundai sales manager, Rodney. He said they had gotten about 12 in that morning, but said he didn't know anything about them. I told him I was looking to see if they had a black one on the lot. He said he would have to check and call me back.
About 1 hour later, a salesman called me and said "I hear you are interested in an Elantra." I told him I was but I was waiting to hear back if they had a black one. He had to put me on hold to find out. He comes back and tells me they do and I said what is your price for it, and he said $19,000+. I asked him what type of Elantra it was and he literally said "I don't know." I told him that was $2000 more than what we were looking at and was it a "loaded" one. He again said "I don't know, but that is the price." I said no thank you and hung up.
I happened to stop back at the dealership to get a glimpse of the new Hyundai Genesis. The salesman immediately was out (of course), but I told him I was just looking because I would not be purchasing for a year. He proceeds to question why and said that they could work out something.
I told him about my prior experience (and actually had the friend with me) and that she had bought her car at another close Hyundai dealership. Didn't even faze him. Stay away from Joe Pecheles Hyundai in Greenville.

The two times I took my car in more major work (1. new water pump and 2. new tire rod and cv boot) - I left with something else totally unrelated broken or not working. I took my 2000 Volkswagen Beetle in about 6 months ago and had the water pump replaced because it had a leak and not only was the car not ready DAYS after the estimated completion time, when I got it back my trunk wouldnt open anymore. The other day I took it in for a new cv boot and tire rod and on the way back home i realized that my AC completely didnt work anymore. I've tried to contact the service department and got to response - so I sent and email and I'll be writing to the corporate office and also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. On the BBB site they have a contact number listed of a GM to talk to before you file a complaint but no one answers at that number either.

My needed a new clutch and was due to have the timing belt replaced. I was treated very well until I arrived to pick up the car. It wasn't ready even though it was past the promised time. I was subsequently late to work. The electrical system failed as I drove home the day I picked up the car. The car was towed back to the dealership (they paid for all towing fees and the loaner car given to me). They tried to talk me into a new alternator, even though the negative battery terminal was loose. One of the brackets that holds the battery secure is stripped, and the grommet that holds the prop bar for the hood is broken. They promised to mail the grommet, but two weeks later it hasn't arrived. The gave me a tire gauge, key chain and flashlight, but I would have much preferred to have my car in good working order.
