This dealership took complete advantage of my elderly parents, sold them an overpriced vehicle, and gave them $2500 LESS than their trade in vehicle was worth. The salesperson got my 84 year old father so rattled and confused she had to write out the check for him, after convincing him he needed an additional extended warranty for the bargain price of $2000, how many 84 year olds need an extended warranty??? Then when my father was not happy with the truck, the dealership told him they could get him into a bigger truck for an additional $3000, this larger truck was listed in their brochure for $21,000, my father paid $24,995 for a bare bones 4 cylinder GMC Canyon (not recommended). So forgive me if I am confused that this dealership wanted what would be a total of $27,995 for a $21,000 vehicle. Fortunately my father decided to keep the Canyon. Basically this dealership ripped my parents off on their trade in, did not take any off the sticker price of the new vehicle, and then insulted him by wanting more money when he was not satisfied with the original GM product.
So, in short, I strongly suggest to stay AWAY from this dealership, they are the worst of the worst. I will say the service department has treated us fairly (the passenger seatbelt never worked properly).
STAY AWAY FROM SPRINGFIELD AUTO MART!!! Or at very least keep your parents at a safe distance.....
