Because of unhappiness w/Brown & Wood, I decided to try your dealership for servicing my DTS. I called Tuesday about two warning lights that came on & that I was not happy w/Brown so wanted to give Action a try. Was told by service to bring car in on Thursday a.m. I asked if I could have an appointment & was told just to come on in. I arrived at 7:20 and visited the service desk. I referenced my Tuesday call & the warrning messages I was getting on my info center. The service person asked me if I could leave my car. I explained that I had just come 28 mi from Chocowinity. He said he was backed up from yesterday & could I possibly come back in the afternoon. I had things to do, but could try to come back another day. He said how about next Tuesday & he would remember me & get me in first thing & an appointment would not be necessary. He asked if I could wait that long. I said yes & returned to Choco. I thought to myself; what if I returned on Tuesday only to find that this person was off that day (sickness or gone fishing) & the new face said he didn't know anything about this. I decided to give you this feedback from a potential cadillac customer that you have lost. I am so disapointed with my two Cadillac dealers service practices that I will just have to consider another car brand & dealer closer to me. That probably means stepping down from Cadillac. The service desk person was very polite, courteous & seemed to have plenty of sercie tickets ready for the work. In fairness, I do not doubt that you were quite busy. But it's the service after the sale that folks like me worry about when buying a car from a dealer where the round trip is 56 mi & you go in for servcice only to find out that what you thought was going to get taken care of may not happed - sorta like a crap shoot. Anyway, going to B&W, one can always go shopping etc....Barry 252-946-3044
