HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! I went to purchase a Wrangler- started paperwork on a 97 when another customer who test drove found bad lifters- A) why wasn't this found by service as we were told everything was checked and came out okay. B) Why would they try to pawn off a defective vehicle by even putting it on the lot!?!? So we bought a different vehicle after we were told it had been checked twice and everything was okay. We then heard a rattle and were PROMISED that it was only a loose part.. Upon inspection by our own mechanic (who actually knows what he is doing) it was found that the part was not loose, but BROKEN! These people will lie to your face to sell a vehicle! Finance guy was HORRIBLE! Had to wait nearly 2 hours!! Extremely arrogant and tried to ram the warranty down our throats- especially since when he "bought his S series Mercedes the warranty cost $9,000 and he didn't even blink".. Both the general manager andrew and his used car manager have no people skills at all! Refused any help with the broken part..Said I was unreasonable for being upset that I was out-right lied to. Just kept saying "as is means as is".. The fact that this dealer had a car pass smog with a broken off muffler tells me something illegal is going on somewhere. And they had the gall to ask me if it could have happened after I left the lot... the muffler was completly rusted where it was broken telling me it had been that way for quite some time. I will be reporting this to the Bureau of Automotive Repair and anyone and everyone I can think of...
