I purchased a pre-owned 2005 XC90 Volvo V8 ,with 97,000+ miles, for $13,927.80 , which Crippen had replaced the engine and had given an excellent recommedation on, Tom Sanford , told me their best mechanic installed the engine which had 44,000 miles on it and said their best mechanic "went through the vehicle with a fine tooth comb" & ""really put it through the wringer" to make sure the vehicle was sound, Tom Sanford then handed me over to Tim Morris to put the sale together, I asked him if this would be a vehicle he would feel good about buying for himself personally & he said yes it would be, you're buying this vehicle to be right,"it must be right" so going on that I purchased the vehicle in Nov. 6, 2010 ,and already on the way home the vehicle started malfunctioning , brake problems,transmission shuttering , and as of Feb. 27th 2011 , the engine locked up and needed to be replaced ,I put less than 5000 miles on this vehicle since purchasing it from Crippen, and all in all , I spent in the excess of 14,000.00 in repairs and Crippen Auto ,Tom Sanford , Tim Morris, would not stand more than $900.00 of the repairs or engine replacement, which was all verified and performed at a Certified Volvo dealership here in PA. , so now this vehicle costs me in the excess of $28,000.00 , by far exceeds the current value of this vehicle( more than double the cost)so needless to say I am very disappointed with the satisfaction Crippen has proved to me, I would not recemmend anyone doing business with them, their slogan is "over 35 years of Honesty & Integrity" ???? ......the experience that I have had with them has been anything but that... I say "BUYER BEWARE!!!

We have had nothing but terrible experiences with this dealership, mainly in their service department. From now on I will be driving 50+ miles to go to another Mazda dealership when I need service. I will also never buy another Mazda. That's how bad it is.

I am a young woman & feel as though their service dept. took advantage of me and totally padded my bill ! Did work that did not need to be done and did not fix what I took it in for now I have to take it back again for them to fix the original problem after it cost me 1300 dollars !!!!!!
