I didn't buy my Volkswagen at this dealer however I took it to this dealer for service. There Service Department are incompetent crooks. I brought my car in for a service issue because it was not shifting gears in high speed and the RPM was between 40-50. They called with a quote for fixing the problem of $900 for repairing the air meter and coolent leak. I picked up the car the next day and when I was driving home the same problem was still there. I turned around and brought it back to the dealer. The called me and told me it needs a tune up and that is why it still has a problem. I told them that a tune up has nothing to do with it not switching gears and then asked to speak with a manager "Gary". The manager apologized and said he would call us back after he looked into the problem. He called us back and said that it was misdiagnosed and that the service people had done steps B and C without completing steps A and B. He said he would provide us with free labor and 1/2 the price of parts to fix the problem now diagnosed as a camshaft position sensor and an ignition coil that needed replacement quoted at another $354. We asked him if it would fix the problem and he said yes. Gary called us the next day and said they replaced those parts and then when the took the car for a test drive it was running fine however after a few minutes the check engine light came on again and now they need to replace the gearbox sensor which would cost us another $148. We said forget it and we went to pick up the vehicle. The service department should have diagnosed this problem from the beginning and they are overpriced, incompetent and dishonest people. I would definately not recommend this dealer and they should be held accountable for their actions.
