Picked up on following mon. Drove less than four miles and the alternator died. Sales mgr. insisted it was a battery, these things happen in the desert. not a mechanic, but dead battery does not shut down car. It was a bad alternator. they replaced. drove car next day with family. brakes quit working and the right rear spring brike. Oh, they had to charge the ac also. these are things listed in160 piont inspect that should have been caught. they offered me a 1998 caravan on tuesday. have found numerous things from inspection that are wrong. transmission won't shift sometimes to fifth gear. 50mph doing 4500 rpms on highway and it won't shift. to many other things to list, but all are on 160 piont inspection. it is now fri afternoon and i am still test driving the van with no word from dealer about financing or if and when they will fix the van. this may be why so many people go to other towns to buy a quality vehicle. slow, un trust worthy dealers here in yuma. We were insulted on the trade in value of our 2003 ford pick up. Dealersship called us and wanted to make it right! It took us 4.5 hours to pick up and finance the vehicle that we purchased the second night and we were pre approved. It took us 2.5 hours the third day to correct the tire that had a nail in it and the detailing on the vehicle left much to be desired. With the exception of the salesman, I would not recommend buying any vehicles from this dealership. It would be worth the drive to Phoneix or Scottsdale area to get possibly better service.
