I went to a local Subaru dealer (Casey imports in Newport News) yesterday. I am interested in buying a WRX. I told the salesman that I was interested in the vehicle but I wasn't going to buy for a few months because my wife and I needed to pay off her car. I also told him it takes me a couple of months to make a decision on a car. I wanted to drive the WRX to help make my decision so when it came time to buy I could make a proper decision. He told me they don't let people drive the WRX if they're not making an immediate purchase. I told him that I would not buy the car from them if they were not willing to let me drive it. I also talked to the sales manager and he told me the same thing. I am 31 years old, I have a career and a wife with a career. I'm not a teenager looking for a joy ride. I think if Casey imports wants to sale cars in this economy they need to focus on customer support. Know i don't know if I want the WrX because I wasn't allowed to drive it and was also told it was no problem to them if I didn't buy the car from them.
