Traded at Forts' 5/12/08.Sales manager noted problem with AWD system on my trade- in and we agreed on low trade allowance due to needed repairs. They inquired if I had an extended warranty, which I did Ryan contract #BY52989 purchased 7/11/05 cost $1763 and was app. 2/3 way through contract with prorated refund due if unused. I offered to have vehicle checked,but was convinced not to by Forts' staff. Ten days later(5/22/08) Forts' took my trade-in vehicle to Uftring Auto Mall in E.Peoria and had it repaired using my warranty at cost of $1267.24 using my name and personal information without my knowledge or consent. I was denied my refund until I acquired fraudulent invoice and turned it over to police. Forts' finally paid for the repair only after intervention from the IIlinois Attorney Generals Office. Both dealerships admitted their rolls in this crime to AG's office, however Patrick Fort refuses to apologize and has publicly called me a liar when I have all documentation.
